More about Gershon's family:
Beryl (Birck) was born around 1857 and married Minnie Litvinsky. They had at least 5 children: Archie, Alex, Matilda, Mary and Chyka. Beryl arrived at Ellis Island aboard the S.S. New Rochelle on September 19, 1920 with his wife Sara (we assume this is Minnie with another name, unless he had another wife) and daughter Taube (we assume this is Tillie). They were going to their son/brother A. Palewski at 3721 Woodland Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Beryl's father Hersch remained in Kobrin.
Archie was born around 1878 and married Lillie Wolf on August 9, 1903 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Alex was born around 1889 and died in Miami, FL on September 10, 1959. His Cleveland obit stated, "Palevsky, Alex, of Miami, Fla.; formerly of Cleveland, O.; brother of Mrs. Tillie Katz of Elyria, O.; cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Palevsky and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Loeb. Services at Berkowitz-Kumin, Inc. Memorial Chapel, 1985 South Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights, Thursday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m."
Matilda (Tillie) was born around 1902. She married William Schuman on September 11, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. She later married Max Katz on February 22, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. We don't have any further info on Tillie and William's marriage, so we assume they divorced, unless he died young.
Mary married Mr. Rosenman and remained in Poland.
Chyka married Mr. Reznicki and remained in Poland.
Isaac Rabinowitz arrived in Philadelphia in January 1914, from Capetown, South Africa. His wife Rachael Rabinowitz remained in Capetown. Isaac was going to his nephew A. Palewsky at 3721 Woodland Avenue in Cleveland. Archie was living at 3717 Woodland Avenue in 1910, so if Rachael was Archie's aunt, then we assume she was Beryl's sister.
Rebecca (Isaac Palevsky's wife) born January 20, 1857 and died on February 28, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio and is buried in Harvard? Cemetery. Next of kin was son Sam. Isaac born in Kobrin, buried on Ridge Avenue in Cleveland. Father Sashen born in Kobrin.
Nathan arrived in New York in 1903 as Naftole Palewski, destined for his brother-in-law M. Goldstein at 126 Union Park Street in Boston, MA.
